Yes. Iron fallout removal is the first prep step on every Shire job. We use an iX-class fallout remover that turns the iron particles purple as they dissolve.
Do you work near the Cronulla wharf and foreshore?
We can, but we strongly prefer your home address. Foreshore parking has too much variability.
Miranda Westfield carpark options, can you work there?
Not really practical. Westfield staff often question contractor activity and we need a stable position for 6 to 10 hours.
Does beach sand scratch coated paint when I wash it off?
Sand scratches paint when it gets dragged across the surface, coated or not. The difference a coating makes is that sand and salt rinse off with low pressure before you ever touch the panel, so the wash itself stops being the thing that scratches the car.
Can you coat a ute tray or just the painted panels?
We coat all painted surfaces including the tub exterior, plus glass and wheels in the 10-year package. Spray-in bedliners do not take ceramic, but painted tailgates and tubs do, and they are usually the most weather-beaten panels on a Shire ute.
