It started with my father
My passion for cars started with my father. He’s the one who first taught me that a car is more than just transport — it’s something you take pride in, look after, respect.
When I bought my first car, I wanted nothing more than to keep it in perfect condition. I spent hours on it. I fell in love with the process.
That obsession became Encue.
I started this business so I could give other people’s cars the same care I gave my own — and to experience working on every kind of car I’d never get to drive otherwise.
The hard truth about ceramic coating in Sydney
Too many “ceramic coatings” in this city aren’t ceramic coatings at all. Some shops charge $400, spray on a glorified sealant, hand you the keys back in 4 hours, and call it premium.
The customer finds out 8 months later when their “9-year coating” has already failed.
I won’t compete with that. I’d rather lose the job than half-do it.

6 hours minimum. Every panel. Every time.
A proper Encue coating takes 6 hours minimum. Every step matters: multi-stage machine paint correction, full panel-by-panel decontamination, inspection under LED light, IPA wipe-down to strip every trace of polish residue.
Only then the coating itself — applied properly so it bonds with the clear coat the way the manufacturer intended.
If there’s a single spot, I’ll get rid of it. I am, unapologetically, an insane perfectionist. That’s the deal.
I don’t run Encue for profit. I run it to put smiles on people’s faces and to restore trust in an industry that’s let too many car owners down.
Graham, tea, and biscuits
A while back I coated a brand-new car for a gentleman named Graham — a new-car coating for his wife. The job took about three hours. The visit took five.
He invited me in for tea and biscuits, and we sat in his kitchen and just talked. About cars, about his wife, about life.
That’s what this business is really about for me. The cars are incredible, but the people are why I keep doing it.
A few things about me
I’m based in Sydney. I daily-drive a modified Gen 2 BRZ — because if you’re going to do this work, you’d better love your own car too. My dream is a Ferrari 296 GTB. We’ll see.
Honestly, Encue exists at all because of a hard chapter in my life. Years of health issues forced me to drop out of school. This business is what I built finding a way forward — and it’s given me the chance to support my partner, work with my hands, and turn the thing I love most into something other people get to enjoy too.
